DEVELOPING CORE LEADERSHIP SKILLS, GROUNDED IN PURPOSE.

LEADERSHIP IS WHAT SEPARATES GREAT ORGANIZATIONS FROM AVERAGE ONES.

Impact

More than 50% of leaders never receive training for their first leadership role. Our leadership programs can change that.

At CFGL, we offer integrated learning programs that include coursework, practical engagement tools, and impactful activities intentionally designed to maximize connection and engagement. We provide guided examples, so our leaders know how to immediately apply their learning.

Our leaders’ programs are customized for three specific stages of development - Emerging, New, and Seasoned Leaders.

We teach leaders what and how. We cultivate self-awareness and provide impactful tools to develop behaviors and crucial competencies for effective and human-centered leadership.

Solutions

Studies show that companies who invest in their current and future leaders’ development thrive and have a competitive advantage.

Learning is rarely applied, though, without an understanding of how to apply it. And without how, the investment adds little value. This is where we join your journey. We teach WHAT and HOW.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Occasionally, a new concept comes along that changes the game. Journey With Intention is absolutely that game changer! Inclusion of guided activities is atypical for leadership development and this program provides them throughout the coursework. My client organization is committed to the program dedicated to new leaders but we are also considering the program designed for tenured leaders. They are often overlooked but have much influence and impact on the work environment. We are discussing how and where we would implement. Game changer!

Nicole P. – HR Business Partner (energy)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Journey With Intention was a great find. It can be used in any work environment for leaders of teams at any level. I especially appreciate the resource it provides for my rising leaders. We haven’t had a real strategy to develop them. We’ve just thrown them into a job. But this program creates true intentionality for the organization and our new leaders.

Ben S. – General Manager, Field Operations (engineering)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

The customer experience is all about connection. And that begins with leadership. Journey With Intention develops and motivates leaders to elevate connection as a core value by how they cultivate the work environment and culture. This program is truly a remarkable inside-out experience: a give and receive circle of life. High recommendations!

Sharon R. – Director, Customer Experience (hotels)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I feel like I’ve won the lottery! This is a gift for any leader – especially for pipeline and new leaders. Each year, my group searches for a leader development program to serve leaders across the company, not just in one organization. This responsibility is normally a great challenge but it has taken on a new identity in the pandemic. This series is suited for wide-scale implementation for developing new and future leaders. I believe middle managers would also be served well with it. You can thank me later!

Ryan T. – Workforce Development and Training Manager (pharmaceuticals)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Employee well-being looks different with each person. Our leaders are learning to value the individual needs of each person while also juggling their own needs. Exhaustion, fear, and life balance are the greatest dynamics within our workplace these days. Standing in the chaos as a real human being is really what matters most. There is no time or place to follow other ideals. Our leaders must be willing to embrace human – in themselves and in others. The Journey With IntentionTM series takes leaders for a purposeful walk in their own skin. It is a must-have for leaders, especially as they navigate today’s new everything.

Marion V. – AFT Director (healthcare)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

We have selected Journey With Intention for emerging leaders’ development so as to mitigate the impact of the Great Resignation. Not only do we have an unexpected high number of leadership vacancies, but we also have new employee expectations regarding work environment. Leadership is more important today than ever.

Jada L. – Vice President, Communications (entertainment)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

In what is mostly a transactional business, we are challenged with how to connect with employees.  An added complication to our work environments is high turnover. The last 2 years has created so much stress in the lives of our employees. They need steady ground and that is nurtured by our leaders. This leadership series provides guidance and perspective for leaders and teaches them how to put their skills to work.

Joseph D. – Manager, Marketing Services (retail)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

The Great Resignation has left many shoes to fill and has created a new landscape of leadership. Our new leaders tend to have the right mind-set, but they don’t know how to implement the softer skills. Journey With IntentionTM provides real-time development and guides leaders along their path. I strongly recommend this program to remind leaders why they exist and give them tools to do it. We are discussing how and where we would implement this program on a larger scale.

John C. – Sales Manager (food and beverage)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

We are in difficult times – for many reasons. The ground beneath us has shifted significantly and our employees need stability. If never before, now is the time for leaders to create a meaningful and safe space where their people can thrive. This leadership development program uniquely serves the needs of today’s leaders.

Laura M. – Chief People Officer (banking)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I heard about this program through my mentor. She suggested it to me as a tool for developing my leadership skills. As a Project Manager, I informally lead a team of 12. Leadership programs do not seem to exist for informal leaders but this one had potential. It has shifted my whole approach to leadership. My greatest lesson was that I had to first ground myself.

Mike W. – Project Manager (utilities)

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Our employees. They are the engine, the brand, and they drive our success. Above all else, we will serve their needs and their well-being. To fulfill this mission, our leaders must understand why and how. This series teaches those very things – and so much more.

Iman J. – Director, Talent Management (automotive)
